dictate什么意思

dict，说，更多例子比如：dictionary, dictaphone, dictum, etc.

ate，使……，常见动词后缀，更多例子比如：situate, generate, alternate, etc.

dictate，口述、下令、规定、要求、决定（这些都是动词），自己给自己的要求、命令（名词）。

可以看出来通常是对别人说、对他人下命令，而且此时是动词，作名词时则是自己对自己的要求。
