1. amazing 和 amazed：“惊讶”

（1）amazing:形容词，“令人惊讶的”，重在对事物特性的描述。

如：an amazing news 令人惊讶的新闻

（2）amazed: 形容词，“对...感到诧异”，重在描述人的感受。

如：I was amazed at the news.

我对这个消息感到诧异。

（3）amazed 还可以作动词，原型为amaze:“使吃惊”

如：It amazed me that she had promoted.

她晋升了，真使我诧异。

练习：

A. She was _____ at the ______ wonder at that time.

B. The ______ news_____ me very much.

（1）arrive和reach都为不及物动词，arrive 后面加in（大地方）或at （小地方）, get 后面加to。

例如：arrive in Shanghai

到达上海

arrive at the bus station

到达公交车站

get to the airport

到达机场

（2）reach 为及物动词，无需加介词。

如：reach Shanghai 到达上海
