Worth 说起来，我们很早就学过。然而，很多人其实不怎么会用这个词。

今天，我们就一起来看看worth的多重用法。

Worth 有两种用法，一是作为形容词，另外一种是作为名词。

A. 作为形容词的时候，是 “值……价值” 的意思。

1. 一般的句型有be worth...价值（多少钱）

A local jeweler says the pearl is worth at least $500.一位本地珠宝商说这颗珍珠至少值500美金。

2. worth doing 值得做……

He's decided to get a look at the house and see if it might be worth buying.他已经决定去看一下那所房子，看看是否值得买。

3. worth + 名词

This restaurant is well worth a visit.这家饭店很值得光顾。

B. 此外，作为名词，worth 是价值的意思。

net worth 净值；资本净值

present worth 现值，现在价值；现市值

常用句型：

a certain amount of money's worth of something

价值（多少钱）的 （某种东西）

I went and bought about six dollars' worth of potato chips.

我去买了价值约六美元的土豆片。
